Charpentier, Gustave

Gustave Charpentier(1860-1956), French composer, studied at the Paris Conservatory, in 1887 he won the Prix de Rome and studied in Rome from 1888 to 1890. In this period he conceived most of his important compositions. He composed operas and orchestral music.
