Campagnoli, Bartolomeo

Bartolomeo Campagnoli(1751-1827), Italian violinist and composer, he was a virtuoso violinist who toured Europe propagating the popular 18th century Italian violin style. From 1979 to 1814 he directed the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra. He composed 3 flute concertos, a violin concerto, 41 caprices for solo viola, and duets for flute and violin.
